Holotype : male, RUSSIA , Republic of Sakha [Yakutia]: Bulunsky District , Kumaksurt , 20.vii.1989 , leg. A. Tsybulsky (deposited in: SIZK ). Diagnosis. Exochus argutus is characterized by the combination of the following characters: face not strongly swollen; face and frons black; yellow marks opposite to lateral ocelli not elongated; clypeus with apical margin straight; occipital carina? present (hardly visible); meso- and metasoma black; propodeum with area superomedia opened, costulae present; fore wing with vein cu-a strongly distad of Rs&M by about 0.4 of own length; third laterotergite? straight from the proximal end, wedge-shaped (hardly visible); legs generally orange except coxae, trochanters and trochantelli, femora basally widely and apically narrowly, and hind tibiae basally black. Distribution. Currently known from Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) ( Tolkanitz 2007a ).
