Notes:
Chirotica meridionalis
represents a new record for the Maltese Islands and is almost certainly an idiobiont ectoparasitoid, known to parasitize

. It has been recorded from
Phalacropterix apiformis
(Rossi, 1790)
and
P. bruandi
(Lederer, 1855)

).
