Etymology
. I have great pleasure in naming this species in honour of Colin Johnson not just because of the work he did on these
Acrotrichis
, but in recognition of the encouragement and support he has given for my interest in
Ptiliidae
over more than thirty years.
Remarks
. The short antennae and shape of the genitalia will quickly distinguish this small species.
