( Figs. 10A –H) Habitus Fig. 10A . Length 0.60 mm . Colour blackish brown, antennae dark brown. Antennomeres 3–11 0.23 mm long Fig. 10 C. Breadth across eyes 0.23 mm . Mentum and submentum showing chaetotaxy Fig. 10 I. Pronotum 0.31mm wide, 0.18 mm long, sides with a very slight sinuation before the hind angle Fig. 10 B. Elytra 0.33 mm long, 0.35 mm wide. Mesoventral collar only slightly sloping shoulders and with a medial excision. Posterior margin of metaventrum between metacoxae wide Fig. 10 H. Central tooth of the pygidium barely discernable. Male : ventrite six with a single row of 12/13 short spines Fig. 10 F; aedeagus Fig. 10 E. Female : spermatheca Fig. 10 D. Etymology . I have great pleasure in naming this species in honour of Colin Johnson not just because of the work he did on these Acrotrichis , but in recognition of the encouragement and support he has given for my interest in Ptiliidae over more than thirty years. Remarks . The short antennae and shape of the genitalia will quickly distinguish this small species. Type data . Holotype : ♀, Isalo N.P. Analalava Forest, ISL/ Jan. 2013/04 GPS 222, sifting litter, Winkler app. extraction, S.22˚35’ 05.0” E.45˚07’ 51.8”, 725m , 17.i.2013 , L.S.Rahanitriniaina & E.M.Rabotoson ( BMNH ). Paratypes : 2 examples, same data as holotype .
