This species is known from Texas, Kansas, Colorado, New
Mexico
, Arizona, Utah, Nevada, California, and Oregon. Its range in
México
has not been examined. Specimens from northern California and Oregon are dark, with only elytral apices being pale. They are thus very similar in appearance to paler specimens of
Bembidion lugubre
, from which they are most readily distinguished by genitalic characters.
