( Fig. 79 ) Material examined. Holotype female, Kenya , Nakuru National Park , altitude 1765 m May 5, 2006 (El-Banhawy) . Paratypes , 7 females , Mt. Kenya , Chogoria gate, altitude 2985 m , July 16, 2004 (El-Banhawy) . Female: Dorsal shield 335 long, 180 wide, reticulated, with seven pairs of pores. Measurements of dorsal setae: j1 30, j3 28, j4 15, j5 16, j6 18, J2 23, J5 9, z2 17, z3 23, z4 25, z5 16, z6 14, Z4 30, Z5 50, s4 23 , s6 25 , S2 29 , S4 32 , S5 26 , r3 25, R1 23, JV5 40. Setae Z 5, JV5 knobbed, Z5, Z4 serrated, remaining setae smooth. Peritrematal shield fused anteriorly with dorsal shield, reaching level of j1. Sternal shield, distances between St I-St III 62 , St II-St II 55 , St III of shield, St IV on platelets. Genital shield 67 wide. Ventri-anal shield 122 long, 80 wide, with a pair of round pre-anal pores and four pairs of pre-anal setae (JV1, JV2, JV3, ZV2). Two pairs of metapodal platelets, two pairs of sigillar sclerites and four pairs of setae, surrounding ventri-anal shield. Fixed digit of chelicera with two teeth, movable digit with one tooth. Spermatheca calyx cup shaped, 12 long, 4 wide near atrium, 7 near vesicle, atrium small, major duct broad. Macrosetae knobbed or blunt, Sge IV 18 , Sti IV 20 , St IV 40 . Chaetotaxy : genu II 2 , 2 / 0, 2/0, 1, genu III 1 , 2 /1, 2/0, 1. Remarks. This species is similar to K . eddiei (Ueckermann & Loots) . The serrated seta Z4 and details of spermatheca separated these two species. The male is unknown.
