Diagnosis: The punctiform brown spots on the basal half of the elytral disc will distinguish the members of this species from congeners. Description: This species was adequately described and illustrated by SOLERVICENS (2003: 48) . Additional characteristics involve: Antenna as in Fig. 19 , pronotum as in Fig. 45 , elytral asetiferous punctation substriate, epipleural margin not serrulate near elytral apex, and habitus as in Fig. 75. Natural history: The holotype was collected beneath a cut trunk of a species of Nothofagus BLUME ( Nothofagaceae ), during February, at 1,600 m . Distribution ( Fig.71 ): Known only from Chile .
