REMARKS
Cololejeunea appressa
is a member of subg.
Taeniolejeunea
and is distinguished from other members in this subgenus by the single row of 3-4 ocelli, the unicellular first lobule tooth and first and second lobule teeth clearly visible, not overlapping each other. A pantropical species, preferably growing on barks or on living leaves at low elevations, reported in Asia from
