Head and face yellow; first flagellomere yellow, somewhat brownish, greatly enlarged in male; mesonotum predominantly black, with spot almost reaching scutellum; scutellum yellow with one pair of brown lateral spots; calypter greyish, fringe black. Aedeagus (Fig. 256 and 257 in Spencer & Stegmaier 1973 ): basiphallus slightly sclerotized with membranous extension distally; mesophallus and distiphallus fused, with two shorts, diverging apical tubules and broad lateral plate-like extensions.
