This Australian ladybeetle was introduced into 
<collectingCountry box="[1400,1505,1364,1404]" name="Guam" pageId="10" pageNumber="160">Guam</collectingCountry>
from Honolulu in 1926 to combat the cottony cushion scale. In 1936 both were scarce, and only 
<specimenCount box="[457,691,1467,1508]" pageId="10" pageNumber="160" type="generic">one specimen</specimenCount>
of the ladybeetle was obtained.
