Remarks.
This specimen has a broad and wide body, robust and circular in section. It has a distinct colour pattern consisting of a double dark transverse line on the sixth chaetiger and red spots on the dorsal midline of each segment. Dorsum of anterior segments and some parapodia with fibrillar material arising from the surface. The chaetae and aciculae are similar to those of
O. freycinetensis
. Body shape and dorsal cirri similar to those of
Odontosyllis robustus
n. sp.
Habitat.
Sand, in shallow waters.

Australia
