Head black, except mandible testaceous; antenna brown, except ventral side of scape testaceous; mesosoma and metasoma black; legs brown, except distal extremities of coxae, trochanters, stalks of femora, proximal half of tibiae and tarsi testaceous. In specimen from South Africa , Kruispad Farm, head black, except mandible and part of clypeus testaceous; antenna brown, except flagellomere 8 and ventral side of scape whitish; mesosoma black, except lateral regions of pronotum, posterior margin of disc of pronotum, part of mesoscutum and posterior extremity of propodeal declivity testaceous; metasoma brown; legs brown, except articulations testaceous.Antenna clavate; antennomeres in following proportions: 7:6:12:7:6.5:6.5:5.5:5:5.5:8. Head excavated, shiny, with occiput granulate and frons unsculptured, except narrow and slightly rugose area near clypeus; frontal line complete; occipital carina absent; POL = 1; OL = 1; OOL = 9. Palpal formula 6/3. Pronotum shiny, unsculptured, crossed by strong transverse impression. Mesoscutum shiny, sculptured by numerous longitudinal striae, with two strong lateral pointed apophyses ( Fig. 192I ). Mesoscutellum shiny, sloping anteriorly. Metanotum deeply excavated behind mesoscutellum. In specimen from South Africa , 32°21.260’S 26°23.001’E , metanotum weakly excavated behind mesoscutellum. Metapectal-propodeal disc swollen, shiny, unsculptured; metapleuron and propodeal declivity transversely striate; mesopleuron partly transversely striate. Meso-metapleural suture distinct and complete. Protarsomeres in following proportions: 13:2.5:4.5:13.5:22. Enlarged claw ( Fig. 194C ) with one large subdistal tooth and one row of 8–9 lamellae. Protarsomere 5 ( Fig. 194C ) with two rows of 16–24 lamellae; apex with 10–20 lamellae. Tibial spurs 1/0/1. . Unknown. Material examined .
