6.1 mm
; fusiform, moderately solid. Protoconch of 1.75 almost straight whorls, apex deeply sunken (not visible in the figure). Teleoconch of up to 3.75 whorls, slightly convex in outline; last whorl comprising about 50% of total shell height. Suture impressed. Surface pale brown, yellowish at suture and base; sculptured with 14 to 16 strong axial ribs and 4 to 7 narrow, low spiral cords per whorl, which produces small beads at their intersections. An additional, almost smooth and markedly stronger cord appears at sutures. Axial sculpture vanishing at the base, where 6 to 8 lower cords are recognizable. Aperture ovate, interior white; columellar callus moderately thick, slightly expanded on the base; siphonal canal moderately long, somewhat oblique, wide. Operculum ovate, with subterminal nucleus; pale brown, translucent.
