Distribution.
Europe, thus far not recorded from southern Europe.
Portugal
: one province (Douro Litoral) in this study, and Algarve (Dyte unpubl. data).
Ecology.
The only two Portuguese specimens were recorded from a mountainous site crossed by a small river with
Salix
sp.
,
Fraxinus
sp.
,
Acacia
sp.
and
Alnus glutinosa
on its banks. In northwestern Europe, records of this species originate mainly from humid forest habitats, although it has been found in coastal shrub vegetations and dry forests as well.
