Aphrosylus raptor Haliday, 1851 (Hydrophorinae) Distribution. Portugal : Baixo Alentejo ( Naglis & Barták 2015 ) and Algarve (Dyte unpubl. data). Ecology. Mainly on littoral rocks. Remarks. Like Naglis & Barták (2015) our survey also produced one single female specimen that might belong to this species, but we decided to treat it as doubtful species as differences were noticed with females of this species from northern France (where they were found associated with males).
