Distribution. This species was previously recorded from South Africa ( Uvarov 1922 , Dirsh 1956b ) and Lesotho ( Dirsh 1956b ). Remarks. This genus was erected by Uvarov (1922) on the basis of its shape of prosternal tubercle and of its male genitalia, this genus is related to Calliptamicus . Its taxonomic status is not satisfactory, it has four possible undescribed species in the SANC collection.
