Notes. Fåhraeus (1870) did not specify the number of studied specimens, however from the context it seems to be clear that he was dealing with at least two specimens. This species has been collected in the following ecoregions of South Africa ( Fig. 5 ): Highveld grasslands; and Southern Africa bushveld.
