Pselaphotrichus
Besuchet, 1986
The genus comprises seven species. One of them,
P
.
indicus
(Jeannel, 1960)
, has been reported from the Indian subcontinent. It was described from Dehra Dun and placed in
Trichopselaphus
Jeannel, 1949
, a junior homonym replaced by
Pselaphotrichus
. The newly examined collections comprise a single female that clearly differs from
P. indicus
by the much longer scape and long erect setae situated on the pronotal and elytral discs. This species is probably new. We decline to describe it in absence of at least one available male.
