Note.
Usually
Cebrennus
was considered a member of the subfamily Sparassinae Bertkau, 1872 (
Jäger 1998
). According to a recently proposed molecular phylogeny,
Micrommata
(
type
genus of Sparassinae; see
Jäger 1999
) does not form a monophylum with the assumed Sparassinae (
Moradmand et al., 2014
).
Cebrennus
appeared sister to
Cerbalus
, and both sister to
Olios
.
