Diagnostic features
Cell II with a variable large dark spot on the dorsal margin (
Fig. 75D
, arrow). Cells I and II separated by a constricted septum; forming a geniculate stalk. One to three cells above the appendage basal cell, strongly flattened, inflated, separated by constricted and slightly darkened septa (
Fig. 75D
, *). Appendage branched above flat cells.

Remarks
First record from
Denmark
and the second after the original description. The host is considered rare in all parts of its distribution, thus the fungus is even more rare. A photo of this species is given here for the first time.
