[ Russia ] Diagnostic features Cell II with a variable large dark spot on the dorsal margin ( Fig. 75D , arrow). Cells I and II separated by a constricted septum; forming a geniculate stalk. One to three cells above the appendage basal cell, strongly flattened, inflated, separated by constricted and slightly darkened septa ( Fig. 75D , *). Appendage branched above flat cells.
