Members of this group are recognized by the slightly shiny dorsal scutum, with rugose and punctuate appearance (mainly because of the setal base depressions ( Figs 68A , 71D ); dense patches of plumose setae around pedicel absent. Sixteen species, most of them with South American distribution, are herein included: C. patquiana , C. floridana , C. platensis , C. adaga , C. atlantica , C. boraceia , C. campana , C. concepcion , C. iguazu , C. pauferro , C. peluda , C. pinheiral , C. punctata , C. rinconada , C. santamaria , and C. similis .
