Diagnosis. Each forewing has a jugal lobe and in each hind wing a small cluster of stout setae immediately basal to the humeral vein. A forewing-hind wing coupling system is absent. Medium to large hydropsychids ( fwl = 9.2–14.4 mm ) with light mottling of brown spots on mostly hyaline forewings; forewings each with forks I–V present, forks I, II, and V stalked to approximately half distance from its origin to wing margin; hind wing with forks I, II, III, and V, fork IV absent, forks I, III, and V stalked; forewing discoidal and medial cells present; discoidal and thyridial nygmata present; thyridial cell elongate-triangular.
