Diagnosis.
Each forewing has a jugal lobe and in each hind wing a small cluster of stout setae immediately basal to the humeral vein. A forewing-hind wing coupling system is absent. The compound eyes of both sexes are hirsute. The female middle tarsi are not flattened. The discoidal cell length is subequal to the medial cell length.

Description.
Medium to large hydropsychids (
fwl

9.2–14.4 mm
) with light mottling of brown spots on mostly hyaline forewings; forewings each with forks I–V present, forks I, II, and V stalked to approximately half distance from its origin to wing margin; hind wing with forks I, II, III, and V, fork IV absent, forks I, III, and V stalked; forewing discoidal and medial cells present; discoidal and thyridial nygmata present; thyridial cell elongate-triangular.
