Diagnosis Alloxysta pallidicornis is easily differentiated from other Alloxysta species by the following combination of features: a completely open radial cell (Fig. 5.4); the presence of pronotal carinae; propodeal carinae that are well-defined, are separated by setae in the anterior half, and form a plate in the posterior half; and antenna with rhinaria beginning on F2 and F1 and a very large length-to-width ratio (Fig. 2.32).
