Remarks.
The present data indicate a high-altitude distribution of
S. melanostoma
, since the overwhelming majority of our specimens were collected above
550 m
; however Chagas-Jr
et al
. (2014) recorded for the Colombian population of this species a very wide altitudinal range (from
60 to 2760 m
).
