Subfamily
Medeterinae Lioy, 1864
Many genera in this subfamily are characteristically associated with tree trunks, making them likely to become entrapped in tree resin flows, some of which may later become amber inclusions. The female in

with its distinctly flattened posterior mesonotum, almost reniform postpedicel, and tibiae with minimal setation appears to be a member of this subfamily.
