Distribution.—This species is found in one of the protected natural areas of the Paraguayan Chaco in the Teniente (Lieutenant) Agripino Enciso National Park in northwestern <collectingCountry box="[994,1112,1592,1616]" name="Paraguay" pageId="20" pageNumber="167">Paraguay</collectingCountry> , in the Argentinian <collectingRegion box="[871,951,1624,1649]" country="Argentina" name="Chaco" pageId="20" pageNumber="167">Chaco</collectingRegion> in Las Brenas in northern <collectingCountry box="[831,960,1657,1682]" name="Argentina" pageId="20" pageNumber="167">Argentina</collectingCountry> , and in northern <collectingCountry box="[701,831,1690,1715]" name="Venezuela" pageId="20" pageNumber="167">Venezuela</collectingCountry> just to the west and outside of Parque Nacional Aguaro-Guariquito. </paragraph> <paragraph blockId="21.[109,619,196,1417]" pageId="21" pageNumber="168">Biological remarks.—Adults are attracted to lights.
