Joicey Esq. Brit. Mus. 1931-444/ Type (photo G. Ronkay from coll. BMNH ) Diagnosis. Adult ( Figs. 21, 22 ). Wingspan 53 mm . We follow A. E. Prout (1924) in the treatment of this taxon as a subspecies of T. sericea . Judging from the photograph of the syntype , the subspecies T. sericea trigonoleuca differs from the nominate one and T. sericea hawkeri by a paler greyish brown forewing, and distinct black with diffused whitish bordering ante- and postmedial lines; the hindwing differs by uniform yellowish-orange color, without dark basal part and terminal band, the only blackish terminal line, cilia and tornal mark are traceable.
