Description of

. BODY. Shape: subparallel, Profile: convex, Color (dorsally): unicolored. HEAD. Modification: strongly convex
Frons
. Shape: markedly convex.
Vertex
. Shape: markedly convex, Medial impression: present, Sculpture elements: punctures, Sculpture density: sparse, Sculpture intensity: superficial.
Eyes
. Size: smaller than half width of vertex (dorsal view), Lower margin: in line or below antennal socket, Median orbit: subparallel.
Antennae
. Length: reach to anterior pronotal angles, Width: antennomeres 5–10 obviously short and broad, Serration: from antennomere 4, Antennomeres 7–10: without petiole. PRONOTUM. Shape: visually transverse, Sides: slightly arcuate, Maximal width: at middle, Anterior margin: subequal to posterior.
Anterior lobe
. Development: moderate, Shape: subangulate, Width: broad, Position: at level with anterior angles.
Posterior angles
. Shape: obtuse, Apex: sharp.

. Impressions: lateral only, Lateral impressions (depth): deep, Lateral impressions (width): narrow.

Diagnosis.
The species is similar to
A. convexicollis
Redtenbacher, 1847
by the habitus, by the size, by the glabrous elytra, by the prominent pronotal lobe, by the dilated prosternal process, and by the impressed metasternal process. The new species can be distinguished by the blue color, by smaller eyes, which are smaller than half width of the vertex, and by the conjointly subtruncate elytral apices.

Etymology.
The specific epithet
muralis
is a Latin adjective meaning “of or belonging to a wall”. It refers to the fact that the species was collected by sweeping the vegetation from the local “Chinese wall”.
