Remarks.
The material examined shows individual variability in both males and females of the species. Femora are either partly dark or almost entirely dirty-yellow; mid femur with one or two anterior preapical setae. Nevertheless, the pointed drawn-out apex of postpedicel distinguishes
D. acutangulus
from other members of the species group.

Dolichopus acutangulus
was known from the environs of Ulan-Bator (
Mongolia
). Now the species is also known from
Russia
(southern Transbaikalia Territory).
