Figs. 17–23 Description. Color and external features as in generic description, vertex with four black maculae ( Fig.17 ). Male genitalia: Subgenital plate short, outer and apical margins rounded, macrosetae irregularly arranged towards apex; elongate stout process arising basally from inner margin, strongly curved dorsad at apex ( Fig. 20 ). Style short, apex slender, rounded, exceeding apical margin of subgenital plate, base broad ( Fig. 20 ). Connective with arms forked, Y-shaped and stem short, its stem nearly 1/5 of arms ( Fig. 23 ). Aedeagus with shaft elongate and slender, curved dorsad, with dorsal apodeme, gonopore apical on ventral surface ( Figs. 21, 22 ). Measurement. Length (including tegmen): 3, 2.9– 3.0 mm; Ƥ, 3.0–3.1 mm. Host. Weeds. Type Material. Holotype 3, China : Guizhou Prov., Guiyang City, Huaxi, 3 June 2008 , coll. Jichun Xing ( IEGU ). Paratypes : 13,2Ƥ, same data as holotype . Diagnosis. This species is similar to Paralaevicephalus gracilipenis Dai, Zhang et Hu in having the subgenital plate process curved at the apex and the aedeagal shaft long and slender, but differs from this and other species in having the connective with arms forked, Y-shaped, with the stem short. Etymology. The species name is derived from the type locality Huaxi.
