Description
. Female (n = 13). Body length 12.0–16.0 mm, polished and covered with punctures and silver setae.
Head 0.55 × as long as wide. Clypeus 1.8–1.9 × as broad as high, smooth except for dorsal part sparsely punctate, slightly convex in lateral view. Face 1.7–1.8 × as broad as high, punctate, slightly convex medially in lateral view. Frons largely smooth medially. Length of malar space 0.9–0.95 × as long as basal mandibular width. POL 1.3–1.4 × as long as OD. OOL 1.0–1.2 × as long as OD. Antenna with 50–52 flagellomeres. FL I 8.8–9.3 × as long as maximum depth in lateral view and 2.1–2.2 × as long as FL II.
Mesosoma densely punctate, elongate more than other Japanese species (
Fig. 12 B
). Epomia present ventrally. Mesoscutum without smooth area (
Fig. 11 B
). Speculum with a smooth area (
Fig. 12 B
). Dorsal surface of propodeum punctate to rugose punctate. Fore wing length

. Areolet received vein 2m-cu slightly based of the outer angle (

). Nervellus subvertical, intercepted posterior to the middle (
Fig. 13 E
). Terminal tooth of fore and mid tarsal claws not larger than other teeth. Hind femur 6.1–6.25 × as long as maximum depth in lateral view. Ratio of length of hind first to fifth tarsomeres 3.8–4.0: 2.0: 1.1–1.2: 0.5: 0.7–0.8. Hind second tarsomere 10.0–13.3 × as long as maximum depth in lateral view. All trochantelli each with a sharp apical tooth on the outer side (

). Hind tarsal claws each with an accessary tooth (

).
Metasoma. T I 4.3–5.0 × as long as maximum width, smooth with fine and sparse punctures. T II 2.9–3.9 × as long as maximum width. T II to T V coriaceous with fine and sparse punctures. Ovipositor sheath 3.15–3.4 × as long as hind tibia.
Coloration (

Clypeus except for dorsal margin, frontal orbit, malar space, mandible except for teeth, palpi, ventral surfaces of scape, pedicel and basal segments of flagellum, postero-dorsal corner of pronotum, propleuron, tegula, subtegular ridge, postero-dorsal corner of mesopleuron, each base of T I to T III, each narrow posterior margin of T II to T VII, base of S I yellow to yellowish brown. Membranous part of metasomal sternites and posterior margin of subgenital plate blackish brown. Ovipositor yellowish brown. Wings hyaline. Veins and pterostigma blackish brown except for yellowish-brown wing base. Fore and mid legs whitish yellow to yellowish brown, mid tarsus partly weakly darkened. Hind coxa black except for a baso-dorsal spot and apex yellow to whitish yellow. Hind trochanter and trochantellus yellow to whitish yellow except for dorsal part of trochanter and apical tooth of trochantellus darkened. Hind femur blackish brown except for base and apex narrowly tinged with yellow. Hind tibia whitish yellow to white basally, blackish brown apically. Hind tarsus white to whitish yellow except for base of first tarsomere and fifth tarsomere blackish brown. Yellowish posterior margin of T V to T VII sometimes indistinct. T III sometimes entirely tinged with yellow.
Male (n = 74). Similar to female. Length of malar space 0.7–0.8 × as long as basal mandibular width. POL 0.9–1.1 × as long as OD. OOL 0.7–0.8 × as long as OD. Antenna with 49–51 flagellomeres. FL I 9.1–10.3 × as long as maximum depth in lateral view and 2.05–2.1 × as long as FL II. Hind femur 6.3–6.5 × as long as maximum depth in lateral view. T I 7.0–7.6 × as long as maximum width. T II 7.8–8.7 × as long as maximum width. Clypeus entirely whitish yellow to yellow (

). Facial orbit with a pair of yellow markings (

). Mesoscutum with a pair of yellow markings.

Bionomics
. Host unknown. Adults were collected in June and July. Adult wasps were almost always collected around or inside of bamboo forest or bushes of bamboo grass thicket. It is often collected in mono-vegetated bamboo forest, suggesting that the host is related to bamboo.
Remarks
. This is the first record of this species from Kyushu.
