COMMENTS : The AMNH number of the type was given in the original description. Paratypes are AMNH 101360–101363, 102600, 102942, 103187, 132640, 144376–144380, 144383–144386, and 423541. Brewer and MacKay (2001: 173) recognized Troglodytes musculus .
