Potts and Warren Pulich (no. 2965). From the Allan R . Phillips Collection. COMMENTS : Phillips (1986: 152) did not publish the year the type was collected, and it was incorrectly published as 1982 in Dickerman and Parkes (1997: 219) . On the original label the date of collection was given as 26 September 1985 . Kennedy and White (1997: 5) synonymized this subspecies with Thryomanes b. bewickii ; Brewer and MacKay (2001: 128–129) did not mention it.
