OCCURRENCE. — Lower Jurassic, lower Hettangian-upper Hettangian of Queen Charlotte Islands, British Columbia , Canada ; Guwayza Formation, Oman ; Japan ;? Antalya Nappes, NE of Antalya city and Mersin Mélange, NW of Mersin city, southern Turkey . REMARKS Although, this species was reported from slightly younger strata (Pliensbachian) in the Tawi Sadh Member of the Guwayza Formation, Oman ( Goričan et al. , 2006 ), the assignment of this specimen is not clear, if we compare it to the holotype . Because of this, we followed the range (middle to upper Hettangian) of this taxon reported by Carter et al. (1998) .
