Differential diagnosis. This species is very similar to B. camelus , but the height of the tubercle on the pronotum is as broad as at base in B. dromedarius whereas the height of the tubercle on pronotum is more than its breadth at base in B. camelus . Lateral abdominal tubercles considerably sharper and pronounced, and comparably, more brownish-gold and less silver-whitish pilosity on head and posterior pronotum than B. came1us and B. petrii sp. nov . Separated from B. davidii sp. nov. by having a clearly short tubercle on scutellum (about same length than width). Male genitalia ( Figs. 12a–f ; Figs. 13a–h ). Genital capsule roughly quadrangular, caudal angles short, straight and subtriangular apically. Ventral rim (vr) concave, broad U-shaped medially. Dorsal rim convex medially and slightly concave towards caudal angles. Infoldings of dorsal rim moderately impressed laterad of dorsal sinus posterior aperture; dorsal sinus posterior aperture U-shaped, the distal ends of dorsal sinus anglulate, which are in contact with apex of two parallel but vertical ridges emanating from inner wall of venter of genital capsule, forming 1+1 short, round lateral orifices well visible in caudal view ( Fig. 12f ). Dorsal rim (dr) nearly straight medially and shallowly concave towards caudal angles. Paramere . With single arm, crown distinctly L-shaped ( Figs. 13a–b ) with a tuft of setae on inner side. Phallus ( Figs. 13c–f ). Phallotheca on ventral side with a broad protuberance, slightly bifid apically at apical 1/3 from phallotheca.Ventrolateral tubercle of phallotheca well developed. Two pairs of conjunctival processes; dorsolateral pair sclerotized, and lobe-like; ventrolateral conjunctival processes dorsolaterally compressed with three lobes apically. Aedeagus moderately long, tubular and slightly deflected towards dorsal side of phallotheca. External female genitalia ( Figs. 13g & h ). Terminalia ( Fig. 13h ).Valvifers VIII subtriangular, convex on dorsal side with mesial margin straight and serrated; posterior margins concave medially with inner posterior angles truncate. Valvifers IX single, roughly subtriangular sclerite. Laterotergite IX obliquely straight, elongate, wider at centre, shorter than apex of abdomen. Laterotergite VIII joined medially and forms a partially opened box-like structure. Valvifers IX and abdominal segment X lay in the trapezoidal anterior rim of laterotergite VIII. Gynatrium . A pair of ring sclerites (rs) elongate oval, only outline sclerotized with transparent centre ( Fig. 13g ). Spermatheca ( Fig. 13g ). Spermathecal dilation long, regularly, obliquely fluted externally but with proximal end of invagination of spermathecal duct (=sclerotized rod) twisted and produced as a semiloop; Proximal flange much shorter in diameter than distal flange; apical receptacle small, with three ductules; base of two of the ductules joined and the third one much elongate. Remarks. The genital capsule and parameres on Schaefer et al. (1996) labelled as B. camelus Costa ( Schaefer et al. 1996 : Figs. 3 C&D ) correspond to the species B. dromedarius (Vollenhoven) (see the remarks under B. camelus ) . Distribution. Indonesia [Sumba], Philippines [Luzon]
