This new species resembles Tydeus quadrisetosus ( Schiess, 1981 ) by having short dorsal setae, not reaching to the base of the setae next behind, and four genital setae. Tydeus quadrisetosus differs from the new species by a having furrow at the level of f1–f2 , setae sci much longer, and a more slender idiosoma. Etymology. The new species was named for the Rio Pardo Valley where it was collected. Material examined.
