Morelet (1860)
did not state on how many specimens his description was based. In
Morelet (1863)
the locality is specified as “sur le plateau d’Andamarca”; as there are several places with that name in the region where Angrand travelled, it is not clear which one was meant. The

, from Yucay in the Vilcanota valley, is in the NHMUK collection (

).
