P1 (Pl. IV: Fig. 11) 2013 Bairdiacypris sp. P1; Maillet: 168, pl. XXVI, fig. 19. Material. 4 specimens (4 C). Description. Large elongated carapace, sub-oval in lateral view, biconvex in dorsal view. Slight overlap of the larger LV over the RV along the whole outline. Bow-shaped projection in ventral view. Hmax slightly posterior; Lmax at 1/3 ventral; Wmax slightly posterior. Convex dorsal margin, a little more arched at its extremities. Ventral margin straight in its middle part, convex at both extremities. Dorsal and ventral margins converging both anteriorly and posteriorly. Well rounded anterior and posterior margins. Convex anterior margin, more arched in its dorsal part. Regularly convex posterior margin. Anterior and posterior ends of the carapace well rounded. Posterior end of the carapace higher than the anterior one. Posterior part of the carapace higher than the anterior one. Surface smooth. Discussion. A large Bairdiacypris . The species remains unidentified because of the bad preservation of the specimens. Occurrences. Middle Givetian (Candás Fm, mb C), Asturias (Peran-Perlora section).
