Recognized by the small sized, body length 1.8–2.0; head yellowish; pronotum greenish ochraceous, scutellum green with yellow base, lateral margin and inner apical angle of clavus whitish, cuneus green, lateral margin broadly whitish; dorsum covered with sericeous setae; labium extending past meta-coxa; tibial spines with black bases. Male genitalia ( Figs. 60–66 in Drapolyuk, 1982 ): Endosoma relatively thin, band-like, apex truncate and simple, without membrane, secondary gonopore invisible. Host plants. Tamarix sp. ( Josifov, 1974 ; Linnavuori, 2010 ; Wagner, 1975 ). Distribution. China (Xinjiang) ( Konstantinov and Vinokurov, 2011 ), Russia ( Fieber, 1864 ), Transsylvania ( Reuter, 1878 ), Rumania ( Reuter, 1894 ; Linnavuori, 1961 ), Mongolia ( Drapolyuk, 1982 ), Iran ( Linnavuori, 2010 ). Remarks. This species was first reported for China from Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region ( Konstantinov and Vinokurov, 2011 ). We could not examine specimens of this species, and the diagnosis based on original description.
