Beetles live in natural and anthropogenic biotopes, along banks of rivers and reservoirs, on open steppe areas and meadows with different humidity level, in forest cover and in mosses. As accidental mycetobiont, they occur in mature carpophores of fungi. Distribution. North Africa, Europe, Asia Minor ( Schülke & Smetana 2015 ).
