Remarks.
Adults of this species were reared from the endemic species,
Thyrinteina umbrosa
Herbulot (Geometridae)
, collected on
Isabela
and
Utetheisa galapagensis
(Wallengren) (Erebidae)
on Santa Cruz. Specimens were collected in sea surface nets between islands (
Peck 1994b
). This appears to be a species near H.
virilis
Aldrich & Webber (D.M. Wood pers. comm.).
