Remarks.
The intraspecific variation within the
type
material has been adequately described by Haas. The species is characterized by the oblique streaks and the sculpture of the shell (
Haas 1955: fig. 78; Fig.
9F.
A juvenile and broken specimen preserved in ethanol 70% was collected on Auyán-tepui, on the same massif as the
type
locality.
