Notes:

The
scales on the costae abaxially are darkened medially with lighter borders, but the scales on the abaxial surface of the blades are whitish and darkened only at the point of attachment, if at all.
Specimens
from
Colombia
(
type
locality) have broader, more lanceolate scales on the abaxial surfaces of the sterile blades and may not be conspecific with the Bolivian specimens
