New records of Reduviidae (Hemiptera: Heteroptera) from Colombia and other Neotropical countries Author Forero, Dimitri text Zootaxa 2006 1107 1 47 journal article 50829 10.5281/zenodo.171458 06ab81eb-f8e8-4b77-ad90-758c5ff37337 11755326 171458 Heniartes lenti Wygodzinsky, 1947 In the only female specimen examined here ( Fig. 34 ), the anterolateral angles of the collar have posterolaterally an area of few short adpressed setae ( Fig. 35 ). In addition, the anterior lobe of the pronotum has scarce pilosity and the posterior one is completely bare. Wygodzinsky (1947a) mentions that in this species the anterolateral angles of the collar are covered with numerous short hairs, and the anterior lobe of the pronotum has mediumlength setae arranged in stripes. It may be possible that the setae in the examined specimen have been broken off, as many of them are partially broken. The female genitalia, nevertheless, agree in having the setae of the eighth sternite numerous and strong. All other structures and coloration agree well with Wygodzinsky’s (1947) description. H. lenti was described from Peru ( Wygodzinsky 1947a ) with an additional record from French Guiana as “ Heniartes ? lenti ” ( Villiers 1971 ). The specimen listed below is a new record from Colombia . Material examined: COLOMBIA , 1Ψ, Llanos orientales, VI1950 , L. Richter [ UNCB ].
