Comments : Phrynobatrachus liberiensis is generally found along swamps and shallow streams in primary forests ( Rödel and Branch 2002 ; Kouamé et al. 2018 ). Many males were heard calling, being well concealed sitting on the banks of a shallow stream in a swampy patch of dense forest ( 07°32.993’N , 008°24.753’W ; 425 m asl). A male (27.0 mm) and a young female (26.0 mm) were caught.
