tersa
have the stridulatory structure on the lateral margin of the abdominal laterotergites formed by a row of widely separated knob-like denticles (
Fig. 13C, F
).
However, they have the first four or five visible abdom- inal segments with transverse lateral sulci (two in
S
.
ayacucho
), and the female lacks projections on abdominal tergite VIII (present in
S
.
ayacucho
) (
Floriano et al. 2017
).
