Abdomen largely brown ( Hardy 1934 ). Distribution. Australia , Sri Lanka . Known hosts. Aulacophora hilaris (Boisduval) ( Coleoptera : Chrysomelidae ). The types (three males) of this species were reared from this host ( Hardy 1934 ). Remarks. Specimens of this species were not available for study. However, based on the original description, it can be distinguished from the other species of Medinodexia by the largely brown abdomen.
