Diagnosis.
Large
Hyalopeplus
(total length about
10.5 mm
, maximal width across hemelytra 3.0 mm according to
Carvalho & Gross, 1979
). Globally yellowish orange with reddish or blackish stripes. Pronotal collar transversally striate. Pronotal callosities wide, punctate, with longitudinal reddish zig-zag shaped stripe. Pronotal disk transversally striate on the swollen (median) part of the disk, slightly punctate laterally and posteriorly. Humeral angles pointed, obviously produced, black. Habitus in dorsal view
