Diagnosis. Large Hyalopeplus (total length about 10.5 mm , maximal width across hemelytra 3.0 mm according to Carvalho & Gross, 1979 ). Globally yellowish orange with reddish or blackish stripes. Pronotal collar transversally striate. Pronotal callosities wide, punctate, with longitudinal reddish zig-zag shaped stripe. Pronotal disk transversally striate on the swollen (median) part of the disk, slightly punctate laterally and posteriorly. Humeral angles pointed, obviously produced, black. Species described from Upper Assam , also known from Vietnam (Schuh 2002–2013 ).
