This moth is widely distributed from
South Africa
through southern Asia to
Formosa
, Java,
Australia
and
Norfolk Island
. The caterpillars feed on mustard, radish, cabbage, and other cruciferous plants in
India
. I found it on cabbage at Piti,
Guam
, but not as commonly as
Hellula undalis
.
