Body length

. Arista densely plumose along entire length, becoming slightly less dense at apex. Setae yellow with slight brownish tint. Face convex below and between antennal bases. Ocellar seta absent. Mid fronto-orbital seta slightly shorter than hind fronto-orbital. Presutural intra-alar seta absent. Two dorsocentral setae. Acrostichal seta absent. One lateral scutellar seta. Head yellow with face and mouthparts light yellow, first flagellomere with strong dorsal stripe, ocellar tubercle brown, and gena and parafacial white and silvery-tomentose. Scutum brown with central stripe and anterior half of postpronotum yellow. Scutellum and metanotum brown. Pleuron and legs light yellow with fore tarsi, anepimeron and dorsal half of anepisternum brown. Halter entirely white. Wing clear. M

Colour significantly reduced aside from entirely brown anepisternum and surstylus: yellow, elongate-oval anteromedial spot within each of two large brown posterolateral spots on scutum, which only extend slightly past transverse suture anteriorly (not to postpronotum); postpronotum and notopleuron brownish; tergites
