Distribution.
This is the first record of the species from
Namibia
, but numerous representatives of the same BIN were previously recorded from
South Africa
(

). The species is otherwise known from the multiple countries in the Palaearctic, Nearctic and Oriental regions. This is the first Afrotropical record (although the species is recorded from Palaearctic parts of the African continent, i. e.
